This project was completed through the Department for Education’s East Midlands’ Framework.
The school is part of the Redhill Academy Trust and offers specialist teaching areas, a spacious learning resource centre, main hall with bleacher seating, dance and fitness studios and a central dining room.
The building is a three-storey, finger block design which meets the educational needs of current and future generations of students. The only original facilities remaining are the artificial floodlit pitch, tennis courts and the sports hall, which have all undergone significant refurbishment.
Our work on South Nottinghamshire Academy was part of our successful appointment on the Government’s National Framework to deliver new schools, academies and free schools. There were 8 other schools in this batch all delivered by Bowmer + Kirkland.
