Being Fair

We care. 518 employees who have been with us for more than ten years, and the 84 for more than 25 years are proof of that. Honesty, fairness, respect and trust are fundamental to how we behave. That’s how we treat people. Not only our employees but also our supply chain and we expect the same treatment in return.

On time payments are essential to our suppliers. We firmly believe that prompt payment of subcontractors maintains secure, long-term relationships throughout our supply chain.

We are committed to the principles of The Office of Government Commerce (OGC’s) ‘Fair Payment Practice Charter’.

To evidence this commitment, we are signatories to the Institute of Credit Management (ICM) ‘Prompt Payment Code’ that commits us to:-

All our employees are required to act within the guidelines of our anti-bribery and corruption policy. Procedures are in place through our management system to prevent anyone associated with B + K, including subcontractors and suppliers, from committing bribery on our behalf, as required under Section 7 of the Bribery Act 2010.
