Derby’s £42 million Moorways Sports Village brings fantastic sport and leisure facilities to the city and was handed over on time and budget, despite the pandemic.

The centre includes a 10-lane, 50m pool designed to accommodate national and international competitions. The pool can be sectioned into three, 25-metre pools and has a moveable floor which can vary the depth of the water to offer a wide range of activities. A water park area includes the UK’s first wave generating Wow ball and England’s first wave rider, providing single or double rides in inflatable tubes.
