Negotiated directly with the client at RIBA stage 3/4, this project saw us design and build more than 230,000 sq ft of residental apartments in two individual buildings of 14 and 17 storeys.
They are connnected at ground level to provide additional commercial, retail, gym and communal facilities. The development for Glenbrook provides 132 one-bedroom, 136 two-bedroom and 12 three-bedroom apartments. Social housing provider Clarion Housing Group will offer 100 homes for sale on a shared ownership basis, bringing much-needed affordable housing to this area of the city. The remained of the apartments are for private sale.
We brought our experise during the RIBA Stage 4 design and replaced the traditional brickwork with a Corium brick-slip system to improve buildability and de-risk the projhect due to associated supply chain pressures of traditional brickwork in this volume. We utilised 4D programming to assist with site logistics and methodology.
