Manchester Metropolitan University Science and Engineering Building

Manchester Metropolitan University has entrusted the construction of its new Science and Engineering building to us.

The £75m scheme will involve a new build, 14,000 sq m,  seven-storey academic building and the complex refurbishment of an existing building – the John Dalton Tower.

This is the largest construction project ever undertaken by the university and construction on the new build and the refurbishment work will take place simultaneously.

Construction starts this month (January) and will deliver new research and lab spaces, bring together different departments into a hi-tech ‘superlab’ and deliver world class modern facilities to support the University’s  global ambitions.
