Glass Futures, St Helen's procured through the NWCH Framework

We’ve been successful in our bid to be reappointed to the North-West Construction Hub High Value Construction Framework and have been awarded places on both Lots 1 and 2 – £8m-£25m and £25m+ respectively.

Approximately 20 bids were submitted, however after a thorough compliant evaluation process, eight construction partners were appointed to the new framework which will launch in January.

Bowmer + Kirkland NWCH Framework Manager, Ben Goldstraw, said:

“We are delighted to be awarded a place on the NWCH High Value Framework renewal. As a contractor on the previous framework, we have been an integral part in delivering impressive projects such as Glass Futures in St Helens and have been highly impressed by the unique way in which contractor partners collaborate to bring shared best practice to the benefit of the NWCH’s public sector clients. We look forward to continuing this success.”

Jared Allen (Director of Capital Programmes for Manchester City Council & Chair of NWCH Board) said:

“I would like to congratulate all the framework contractor partners who have been successful in securing a place on the latest iteration of the High Value Construction Framework. The longevity of the frameworks speaks for itself with a consistent, high-quality service being at their core. This, coupled continued award-winning success (both through the frameworks, and their projects) have made NWCH frameworks the most sought after frameworks to be a part of amongst contractors.

The NWCH procurement process is always a very rigorous process ensuring quality and cost-effective frameworks that comply with procurement rules, focusing on achieving best value for its clients and projects through transparent and sustainable procurement, creating long-term relationships between clients, professionals and contractors with shared objectives and common core values. We are aware that a number of clients eagerly await the news to kick start many of their projects.“
