Health and Wellbeing Manager John Cregan accepts our award

We are very proud to have been presented with our Considerate Constructors Scheme Leading Lights Award recognising our mental health initiatives and programme of support for our employees and supply chain.
With 300 mental health first aiders and mental health champions in the company and a range of programmes and platforms – including LifeSpeak and We Care – offering help, guidance and support on many issues, we are delighted to have won this award.
Our on-site mental health stand down events have been attended not only by our site teams, but by many of our supply chain partners and together with the Lighthouse construction industry charity we are breaking down stigmas and educating our workforce about the importance of good mental health and offering help and assistance whenever it is needed.

Executive Chairman of the CCS, Amit Oberoi said: “On behalf of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, huge congratulations to all this year’s award winners.

“These construction sites, organisations and individuals should be immensely proud of their success. The enthusiasm and considerate practice they have shown in being a Considerate Constructor is highly commendable; achieving great standards through initiatives across communities, the environment and the industry’s workforce.”
