Our Landmark office development in Manchester city centre has won a prestigious award from the Institute of Civil Engineers.
The Regional Chair’s Award for Constructability was announced at a ceremony this week. The ICE North West awards recognise excellence and imaginative concepts in civil engineering practice across the North West.
We were awarded the £47m design and build contract of the 14-storey Landmark building in St Peter’s Square, Manchester and started on site in January 2017.
The compact site within the city centre presents a multitude of methodological and logistical challenges, all of which have been solved through high quality project management and with innovative solutions for the temporary and permanent works.
Landmark House is a 14-storey office building of the highest quality which meets, or exceeds, best practice for commercial offices. It will be a destination building with a CAT A fit-out, suitable for major corporate headquarters with 180,000 sq ft of office space, parking for 50 vehicles and a feature terrace on the 11th floor.
The building will achieve a BREEAM score of Excellent and will complete at the end of summer 2019.
