Our construction division has been named as a supplier on the new Construction Works and Associated Services 2/Procure23 framework by Crown Commercial Service (CCS).

CCS helps the public sector achieve the maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2020/21 the CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.04bn – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

Bowmer + Kirkland Ltd has been awarded a place on four of the regions in Lot 1 (projects up to £20m) – Midlands, North East, North West and East of England and a place on Lot 5 (nationwide projects over £80m).

The framework recognises the importance of public sector construction as leading economic recovery and provides health bodies in England with a new route to market for construction works and associated services.

Lots 1-3 are specifically for healthcare projects in England and aims to drive innovation and sustainability within the NHS. Lots 4 and 5 are available to all public sector bodies in the UK.

The framework lasts four years and will enable the NHS and others in the public sector to engage with companies such as Bowmer + Kirkland which has significant experience in the delivery of complex and challenging projects, delivering quality and sustainability and implementing technology to drive the industry towards net zero.

Bowmer + Kirkland Frameworks Director, Chris Arno, said: “Our place on this framework expands our already extensive experience of this kind of working partnership and is a reward for the hard work and dedication of all our team at B+K.

“We have been a trusted member of the DfE framework since 2013 and have been instrumental in driving forward modern methods of construction and technological advances.

“We look forward to offering our expertise to the NHS and other public bodies during the next four years and beyond.”
