New facility for T J Morris in St Helens

Groundbreaking on site for the new AM Fresh refrigeration facility

Our reputation in the distribution sector as a contractor that delivers on its promises, has led to the award of three multi-million-pound projects.

Clients – Henry Boot, T J Morris and AM FRESH – have between them awarded projects totalling £200 million to our specialist distribution division.

The project for Henry Boot will consist of five warehouse/distribution units of varying sizes off Thane Road in Nottingham. The £35 million scheme, which starts in April, continues an established relationship with this client for whom we have already completed nine projects.

T J Morris, the company behind the successful Home Bargains brand, has awarded a huge high bay/low bay distribution centre, offices and associated works with a value of £118 million.

The project, which is split into five sections, will start on site in May this year and is due to be completed in January 2025.

We started on site in January to design and build a refrigerated fruit processing facility, including three-storey offices for AM FRESH at Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire.

The £47 million project will be completed in only 48 weeks and handed over in December this year.

West Midlands’ Director, John Clarke, said: “We are delighted that we again been entrusted with the delivery of two major new projects for TJ Morris and Henry Boot Developments. This builds upon the successful delivery of previous schemes for these clients and is testament to the West Midlands’ team and our ability to meet our clients’ high standards time and again.

“We are also very pleased to have been awarded the contract to work closely with AM Fresh on their new facility at Alconbury. AM Fresh are a new client for the group and we hope the coming months will allow us ample opportunity to demonstrate our team’s abilities to them in the delivery of fast paced logistics facilities.”
