We are seven months into construction of the first building at South Cambridge Science Centre; developed on a brownfield site, six miles from Cambridge city, it is in an area established with life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and research occupiers. The five-acre site will be delivered as a Net Zero Carbon scheme and feature buildings focused on sustainability including using renewable energy sources.
If you live in and around Cambridge and are interested in art we invite you to come and meet locally-based sculptor Harry Gray, who has been commissioned to create a piece that will stand as part of the completed project. Harry is known nationally for his public art and place-making projects. He is recognised for the quality of design, fabrication and conceptual strength of his work.

Our public art consultation event takes place at the Pavillion, Mill Lane, Sawston, Cambridge on May 13 from 5-7pm. Light refreshments will be available.
