The Bowmer + Kirkland Academy has recognised the success of our class of 2019.
Members of staff who have been studying vocational and academic courses during the past year were invited to a celebratory lunch to acknowledge their achievements in front of their parents, partners and the B+K Main Board.
Twenty seven graduates of various courses were presented with an award by Chairman, Jack Kirkland, including five who achieved first class honours in their respective degrees. Successfully completed courses included electrical installation, heating and ventilation, quantity surveying, construction project management and electrical and electronic engineering.
Director Michael Kirkland who welcomed the guests said: “Many congratulations to all our successful learners We are very proud of them and wish them a long and happy career with us.”
The celebratory lunch was held at the JCB Golf and Country Club at Rocester and this is the 13th year of the event. More than 350 members of staff have been through the B+K Academy which supports lifelong learning for staff in the Group.
