Construction of a new three storey academy on the site of the existing school to provide accommodation for 1300 pupils. Comprising approximately 11,385m² of accommodation off East Bank Road. The project included external works comprising: synthetic sports pitch, multi-use play areas, access paths, roads and general landscaping.

The new Academy buildings feature a wide range of exciting new facilities, including ICT learning resource centres, multi-purpose halls as well as dance and drama studios. There are facilities for digital arts and textiles and extensive indoor and outdoor sporting facilities.

Both Sheffield Springs and Park Academies will also have specialist sixth form provision, offering a total of 550 places between the two sites.
