Wildlife trust gets our support

B&K is showing its commitment to the environment by becoming corporate members of a wildlife trust.

We are building offices for Northern Rock at Rainton Bridge, Houghton-le-Spring, Wearside, next to Durham Wildlife Trust’s HQ and have taken the opportunity to join the trust and support its work.

DWT is responsible for a range of waterfowl as well as kestrel, sparrowhawk, butterflies and dragonflies that live in the area.

Bowmer & Kirkland has been working at Rainton Bridge for three years on various projects and the site was recently a winner in the British Association of Landscaping Industries National Awards.

B&K Contracts Manager Steve Waggett, said: “We are delighted to lend our support to the trust during our work here and would like to look at developing a relationship in the longer term.”

Adam Eagle, DWT marketing manager, said: “Bowmer & Kirkland are a well-known name in the construction field and we are delighted to welcome them as Durham Wildlife Trust’s latest corporate member.”
