Bowmer & Kirkland and Bowmer & Kirkland (London) have achieved certification to the internationally recognised Health & Safety Management standard OHSAS 18001:2007. This follows the introduction of new Health & Safety Procedures and an initial training programme earlier this year,
The certification has been provided by BM Trada which is one of the few companies accredited by the government recognised body UKAS.
This is a further example of the Group's commitment to ensuring a safe working environment for all those affected by our activities.
Group Director of Health & Safety, Mark Blundy, said "This is the culmination of a lot hard work in implementing the new Health & Safety procedures across the construction divisions. All staff should be very proud of what they have achieved in a short space of time, particularly those responsible for the day to day management of the projects. This is a significant step in raising the bar for Health & Safety across the group."
