Melvin joined Bowmer & Kirkland in 1977, working in a number of roles in the Finance Department before taking on the responsibility of Group Finance Director in 1995.
His ability and long experience has helped to steer the company from a turnover of £4m in 1977 into one of the UK's largest and most successful construction and development groups, with an annual turnover now exceeding £800 million.
As well as his overall finance responsibilities he is also Chairman of several of our Group companies including the Security Division in the UK and US.
Melvin's interests outside B&K include football, sadly now as a spectator, golf and most other sports. He also enjoys travelling, which he claims, broadens his mind!
