Melvin joined Bowmer & Kirkland as a cost clerk in 1977 and took on the responsibility of Group Finance Director in 1995.
His ability and long experience has helped to steer the company from a turnover of £4m in 1977 into one of the UK's largest and most successful construction and development groups, with an annual turnover now exceeding £700 million.
As well as his overall finance responsibilities he is also Chairman of nine of our group companies. Melvin's interests outside B&K include football, sadly now as a spectator, golf and most other sports. He also enjoys travelling which, he claims, broadens his mind!
